Windows 10: Why....WHY does M$ make it so difficult?

I had to totally reinstall winBLOWS because M$ has **** QA before releasing updates. Ok, great. Now, I am constantly trying to make Firefox my default browser because, well, M$ sucks. SUCKS. I want as few of their products on my machine as possible. I even had a tech do a remote session yesterday where she changed my default browser to Firefox. I start the computer today, and TA DA! It's back to the POS browser. FFS. I am so sick of trying to counter the crappy products. I just bought a $5K Alienware. I should have bought a **** mac. I'm sick of M$ and their "support" being useless. Even the support specialist solution didn't **** stick. I'm sure nobody in the ivory towers is even aware, because M$ is big enough that the **** never bubbles up. I have literally tried everything. AGAIN AND AGAIN. You suck donkey sacks, Microsoft. This is not a support request. This is a total rant because it all started because of a failed **** update that almost bricked my computer. YOU SUCK and I'm sending you useless **** an invoice according to my regular hourly consulting rate.

Pentium M

Not sure what I'm looking at. Though when I do go to Options and then CPU it lists my CPU
as Intel Pentium M processor 1.73 GHz, and then under that it lists speed: 799.9 MHz
and then features and cache size.I ran the benchmark test and don't understand all
those numbers, but while testing I checked CPUZ and it still says it is running at 800 MHz.

 

Is there a good guide out there on actually assembling the new rig?

List your system specs (All of the parts you're using), putting a computer together isn't very difficult. I can give you some steps on doing it no problem.

 

M-Audio M-Track 2x2 Not Recognized by my computer.

We appreciate the research and troubleshooting you have done, this issue could be from the software end or from the hardware itself.



Please try few of the troubleshooting below to further eliminate the root cause of the issue.

1. Try to connect the device with a different USB and check if that helps.
   
2. Connect the M-track to different computer and check if you still face the issue there, if the issue persists, it could be caused by hardware.
   

Method 1:

1. Press Windows + R key on your keyboard together, and type
   control printers.
   
2. You will see list of all the devices and printers connected to your computer.
   
3. Click on Add a device and follow the onscreen instruction and add your device.
   

Method 2:

1. Uninstall
   all the M-Track drivers from device manager.
   
2. Reboot the computer and check.
   

Method 3:



I suggest you login to the manufacturer site,
download the drivers for your registered device and
install it.



If you still face the issue, I suggest you to get in touch with the
manufacturer and get the hardware checked once.
