Windows 10: Why windows 11 not supporting IntelR Core i5-7200U CPU @ 2.50GHz, 2701 Mhz, 2 Cores, 4...

just one year back I purchased Dell Latitude 5480 model i5-7200U Ram 20 GB 1TB HDD. I still feel wonder too much that, why windows11 doesn't allow an i5 processor? Even windows 11 can support the below version processor than i5. Why windows 11 not supporting IntelR Core i5-7200U CPU @ 2.50GHz, 2701 Mhz, 2 Cores, 4 Logical Processors.

states it is a 4 core cpu.

Does win10 task manager or other software like cpuid's hardware monitor show 4 or 2 cores ?

The cpu is not a hyper thread version, so do not think that is the issue.

Win10 should see all physical cores. logical cores and threads if hyper threading is enabled.

Amd fx and some of the apu versions can have this.
