    Why won’t my laptop wake up when lid closed?


    I am using a Dell Inspiron 7706 2in1 Here’s the issue I’m having, using as a desktop, my computer used to wake up by touching the mouse or keyboard, not anymore, I have to keep the lid open all the time in order to wake the laptop with the mouse or the keyboard, not sure what changed, my wife has the same model laptop in her office hers works fine, I’ve compared settings they appear to be the same. I’ve checked the power management. Lid , power & sleep controls Any ideas?
