Windows 10: Why won't windows live mail open this

Any mail I get with the html file windows live mail won't display in my mail anymore. It used to but after the update, not the last one the one before that it won't open. I thought when the new update 1903 it would work but no it still doesn't open it I have to click on it to open. Thanks

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

 

Windows Live Mail 2012 Closes Right After Opening

• Press Start button, type programs and Features.
• Search for Windows Live Mail 2012. select Uninstall/Change.
• Select Repair and follow the steps and check if it helps you.

  Which Email domain did you configure with Windows Live Mail?
  

I would also suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below:

Method 1:

Repair Windows Live Mail

Refer to the steps mentioned below:

• 
  Press Windows Key + R
  
• 
  Type appwiz.cpl
  
• 
  Right click Windows Live Essentials
  
• 
  Click Uninstall/Change
  
• 
  Click Repair all Windows Live Programs
  

If the issue still persists, proceed to Method 2.

Method 2:

Remove and Reinstall Windows Live Mail referring to the link mentioned below:
