Windows 10: Why won't Windows update 1903 install?

    Why won't Windows update 1903 install?


    I tried installing the new Windows update 1903 many times after initial failures of the ordinary installation processes both using the update troubleshooter and the Windows Update Assistant app. It won't install. Most recently, using the Assistant app, I got the error message "We couldn't install Windows 10...0x800045005-0X1000A. The installation failed in the download phase with an error during first boot operation. " I have 100s of GB of free disk space and no other AV software other than Windows Defender that could be interfering with the installation. Is there any fix for this?

    Windows updates won't install!

    I had the same problem when i repaired my O/S, i forgot the steps on how to fixed it, but it is in the microsoft support forum.

    You have to reinstall the windows updater, then restart the updating service.

    windows xp installation and dual core am

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
