Windows 10: Why won't windows update?

I haven't updated windows for over a year now because of thisWhen i try to update it using settingsI just get an option to check for updates and when i do press it it checks for updates but I dont get an option to update itNext I tried windows update assistant After at 70% Windows restarts and gets a blue screen "critical process died" so then it restarts and it just gets the same blue screenSo it restarts again and reverts everything and boots up with no updateNext I tried using media creation toolAt 70% again, it restarts and gets stuck at the loading screenSo i have to force reboot it and

Skype won´t wok in 17063

Making backup and re-format...

Maybe I Install a Windows 7 again, At least, all of my games run smoothly ...Sadness!!

Windows updates won't install!

I had the same problem when i repaired my O/S, i forgot the steps on how to fixed it, but it is in the microsoft support forum.

You have to reinstall the windows updater, then restart the updating service.

Applications won`t maximize

Following a W10 update, applications only open as minimised on the taskbar and won`t maximize. I have tried closing them minimised but no good. Can anyone help ? thanks
