  1. Wi-Fi connectivity issues

I have been having issues staying connected to my Wi-Fi for the past few weeks since getting a new computer with a Windows OS. I spend a lot of my time during the day in meetings and streaming videos, so it gets very annoying getting booted from these meetings frequently. I will try to describe my problem in as much detail as I can in the hope that someone can help me out.

My Wi-Fi router is fairly strong, consistently giving me speeds above 100 Mbps. I live with three other people, and they have never experienced these same issues I am experiencing. The most common annoyance is I will be in a meeting and I will get temporarily booted from the Wi-Fi for about 15-30 seconds. It is not long enough for me to get booted from the meeting completely, but long enough that my screen is frozen for that amount of time and I'm missing content.

Sometimes I will get completely booted from the network and am unable to reconnect. In cases like these, it usually takes about 10 minutes or so until I am able to reconnect to the network. I have confirmed this is not a problem with the Wi-Fi but rather my computer, because other devices such as my phone never lose a stable connection. Most of the time, I have better luck connecting to meetings via mobile hotspot than I do with my Wi-Fi, which is okay but I do not have unlimited data usage.

If anyone has any ideas of anything that might help, I'd greatly appreciate it. I've already tried a couple of things to troubleshoot: I've insured my driver is updated and I've also gone into Device Manager -> Network Adapters -> gone to properties for my Wi-Fi and de-selected Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.

    Thank you all for reading.
