Windows 10: widows 11 and uefi

question update to windows 11 under compatability you are asked to convert from legacy to uefi file system and you have to go through all the steps to convert if it works after spending over 2hrs it still will not convert then it dawned on me LYNX converts you to uefi automaticlly so why cannot windows 11 ??? also windows version 21h1 is installed on intell chiped pcs and 21h2 on amd systems ??

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Internet Explorer. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your Explorer.

Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel

• Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel
• Run the Internet Explorer performance troubleshooter

AsRock Z77 Pro3 - AHCI? UEFI?

UEFI is a new standard of bios design, so that would probably be what the BIOS has listed as the first boot option, where ACHI is a mode that SATA controllers run, and that is probably listing drives by order of first to last by port order. Not sure why it would list that way (if my guess is right as to how/why it is listing the drives).
