Windows 10: Wifi Connection Problem in Windows 10 Version 20H2

I am using Windows 10 Version 20H2 on my PC. When I attempt to connect to a Wi-Fi Network - It wasn't connecting and shows error as in the image below.

First, I just reinstalled my PC using Windows 10 Version 2004 Image file as a Problem occurred and the Whole Drive was wiped.

When I installed it and during the setup, I attempted to connect to the Wi-Fi Network. It was unable to connect and said that Unable to connect to the Network. Then I used Internet connection via USB Tethering of the Wireless Hotspot Device.

After Setting up the PC. I instantly checked for updates via Settings and Updated my PC. Then System Restarted, After then also, Unable to connect to Wi-Fi.

Then I uninstalled the Wi-Fi Device via Device Manager and restarted and then also unable to connect (Windows reinstalled the Device during Restart) .

After that I installed the driver for the Wi-Fi Device using the Installation Disc came with it. It connected to Wi-Fi after restart.

Then, I installed Windows 10 Enablement Package by Downloading it from the Microsoft Website and updated the PC to 20H2.

After then also, All goes well. After some time, I am unable to connect to the Wi-Fi. Though I do entered the Security Key correctly even by Copy and Pasting.

The error shown in Image occurred at both Version 20H1 and 20H2.

When will the wifi connectivity problems be solved?


OK, so the Windows 10 engineers bollixed up the wifi connectivity part of the operating system. Everybody knows that by now. It seems they are making some progress in resolving it. Now, instead of seeing "Secured, No Internet" on your list of wifi connections, you see "Connected, Secured" EXCEPT no webpages will load. So you really aren't connected. It does seem to be a step in the right direction. Does anybody know when they plan on a full and complete repair of this screw up of epic proportions?

 

Windows 10 version 20H2

I down loaded windows 10 version 20H2 and now many games I play on FB are VERY slow. The games worked ok on version 2004. Question if I down load version 2004 will it override version 20H2, or do I need to remove version 20H2 prior to downloading version
2004?

Hi Wabbles and welcome to Tenforums.

I've got 4 systems connecting via wireless; all adapters are different makes; all have zero issues, and two of them are old (wireless-G only). Most every issue I have seen with wireless connections has been driver-related. (Or, impending router failure.) I would suggest identifying your adapter model/make, and searching for different drivers that you can try out. And, sometimes an older driver works better than a newer one (just had this issue on a system I was working on yesterday). Also, verify you have these same connection issues when connecting to different routers, just to rule that out.
