Windows 10: Wifi continually dropping out when using google nest wifi

I have a Telstra NBN FTTB connection using a technicolor DJA0231 wireless modem with firmware 18.1.c.0514-950-RB. This modem is hard wired to a 2020 google nest wifi mesh router I also have one google point.

If I connect my windows 10 PC directly to the technicolor modem using wifi my internet is strong and steady, if I connect to the google nest wifi the internet is still strong however it continually drops off line and the connection/adapter has to constantly reset itself. I have manually reset both the nest router and the point back to factory but it made no difference, I have also run troubleshoot on the windows 10 PC network adapter which appears to provide a temporary fix 2 to 3 minutes but then problem returns. Other devices TVs, iPads, android Phones etc connected to the same google router, both hard wired and wireless don’t appear to be affected.

Any suggestions as to how I can get consistent wifi from the google nest device on my win10 PC, please

WiFi is continuously dropping and returning

I've been having a problem for a while now where the wifi on my desktop pc has been dropping out and then coming back near continously. Times vary but itll typically drop for a minute or so (when i have no internet at all) come back (speed nominally 30Mb/s
according to google) and drop again a short time later.

The problem only affects my pc, so does not appear to be a router or internet issue. I can, for example, plug in an ethernet cable and it works fine.

I have tried various solutions suggested on other forums, such as ipconfig/resest-release, updating drivers, disabling 5ghz wifi, moving the pc all to no avail.

I have tried replacing my wifi card, which does not appear to have fixed the problem.

The next thing i'm trying is replacing my ssd (which i was planning on doing anyway).

Do people in the great internet hive mind have any additional suggestions. Could this perhaps be a motherboard issue?

WIFI Strange connection drop only when opening games...

The two google wifi points are connected to the Google Nest Router (my main router), one by physical ethernet cable and the other using google's mesh wifi system.

 

windows 10 10147 - Atheros Qualcom WiFi drops


hy,
i have question about 10147 release. does anyone else have WiFi drops? it happens like 5-10 times a day. usualy when i search for windows updates(maybe a coincidence?) or when i reboot the pc. then i troubleshooted a bit, i figured out that WLAN autoconfig service stops working. if i restart the service all starts to work again. how can i prevent those kinds of wifi drops? in the mean time, wifi button gets grayed out and the list is empty, like no wireless is in range (it figures .. since service is not running i guess). i checked the event viewer and saw that many services drops out from time to time including sound (realtek). any suggestions would be appreciated. got a clean install here.
