Windows 10: Wifi Drive is missing

i was using Driver Booster to update my laptop's Drivers and after it restarted my laptop the Wifi driver was gone i can't find it in Device Manager and there's no Wifi option in settings and my laptop's manufacture doesn't seem to have any drivers for my laptop and i can't connect with ethernet cable

Why did the startup window get cleared?

I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.

 

Wifi settings are missing

Hello,

My Wifi settings are missing. I tried the steps as given in: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4023503/surface-wi-fi-settings-are-missingbut
that didn't solve the issue.

Here some details:

• Windows 10 home / 1709 / 16299.125
• I installed all Windows udpates.
• In device manager I don't see under networkadapter the Marvell Avastar.
• The troubleshooter didn't solve the problem.
• Problem started a week ago, reason is unknown.
• I don't know which surface I have, or what surface even is.

Hopefully someone can help me to get the wifi settings back, need internet wireless.

 

Windows 10 Anniversary Update and Seagate GoFlex Missing Drives

I understand the inconvenience caused.

It is unusual that the drives went missing after installing the anniversary update. I suggest you to try changing the drive letter through disk management by following the steps below and check if it helps.

1. Press Windows key + R.

2. Type diskmgmt.msc and press enter.

3. If the drive is listed, right click on it and select "change drive letter".

4. Choose a different drive letter and save the changes.
