Windows 10: wifi driver corrupts after updates

Win 10 updates corrupt my wifi driver . I have to go to device manager and update the driver every time then it works.

• Have you installed any drivers for the WiFi card?

Try updating the drivers and check if the issue persists.

I suggest you to follow the steps below to update the Wifi drivers.

• Press Windows + X key on the keyboard.
• Select the device manager.
• Right-click your Wireless/Wi-Fi devices.
• Click Update Driver Software and then follow the steps in the wizard that appears.
• Restart the machine and check if the issue persists.

I suggest you to remove your WiFi driver:

1. Press WINDOWS + X

2. Click on "Device Manager"

3. Click on "Network adapter"

4. Right click on your network wifi adapter

5. Click on "Uninstall Device"

Then perform a disk clean up :

1. Open "File Explorer"

2. Click on "This PC"

3. Right click on "C:"

4. Click on "Proprieties"

5. Click on "Clean-up disk"

6. Click on "Clean up system files"

7. Select every option in the list, but not "Download"

8. Click on "OK"

Once finished, go to Dell support site and download your wifi driver (Check on your notebook if you have a Intel or a Qualcomm adapter), then install it. Reboot your system and check if now your wifi connection is running.

Windows update reverted display to MS Basic Display Driver

Hi,

Normally, this issue occurs when the drivers were being corrupted or updated after the recent update. Since you've already tried to install the latest driver, we suggest that you roll back to the previous driver and check if it helps to resolve the issue. To
do this, kindly follow the steps below:

• Open Device Manager.
  
• Double-click the device for which you want to roll back to the previous version of the driver, and then click
  Properties.
  
• Under the Driver tab, select Roll Back Driver.
  
• Select OK.
