Windows 10: Wifi intelR Wireless-AC 9560 160Mhz fails - code 10 error

Hi,

I have been using MSI-GF75 thin 9sc laptop since more than 6 months now. It runs Windows 10 Home edition that came with the laptop. The wifi had never given me a problem before. It occurred a day after updates 1909 were installed on 2nd August 2020. The wifi adapter failed and showed a code 10 error in the device manager. I performed a "gold standard" clean install as per the link here https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us...ndows-10/1c426bdf-79b1-4d42-be93-17378d93e587 by downloading the windows 10 iso from here https://tb.rg-adguard.net/public.php as mentioned in the above link. Before the clean install, I reinstalled the firmware and BIOS from the drivers found on MSI global official page. During this process I found that reinstalling the BIOS fixed the wifi problem, but I went ahead and did a complete reinstall anyways on the 3rd of August 2020. Today, after less than a day after the clean instal, the problem resurfaced twice and both the time I managed to get it working after a BIOS reset from my BIOS advance setting. I have a few questions, they are as follows.


1 Is there a permanent fix for this issue ? since it occurred after build update 1909?

2 I am using open VPN along with liquidVPN killswitch batch file found here https://www.raymond.cc/blog/download/did/3746/ is this causing the issue, since I am almost always connected to the VPN and use the batch file to clear the IP address.

3 Last but not the least, Is the iso file downloaded from the link above LEGIT ? my windows reactivated automatically, but is it free of any malware etc ?

Wi-Fi icon disappear - Getting error about intel(R) AC 9560

Hi everyone, asking fro help about Wi-Fi icon disappear. I'm not that good troubleshooting.

I'm getting error about Intel(R) AC 9560 160Mhz Adapter experiencing driver - or hardware-related problems

I'm using a Asus TUF FX505GT

I search about this online and follow the steps.

I've already tried the following steps:

1. Restart

2. Airplane mode on and off

3. Shutdown for few minutes then turn back on

4. Manage device - Device manager - Network adapters - Intel(R) AC 9560 160Mhz - Update driver

5.Manage device - Device manager - Network adapters - Intel(R) AC 9560 160Mhz - Disable then enable driver

6.Manage device - Device manager - Network adapters - Intel(R) AC 9560 160Mhz - Uninstall driver (but didn't put put a check for delete the driver hardware for this device - restart

but none of them working.

I haven't tried the BIOS settings because i dont know what to do or select. Even like downloading a driver.

Please help me, this just started an hour ago.

When your computer does not automatically detect your Intel Wireless AC-9560 network adapter, you will need to download the driver update or installer from your manufacturer's website.

If you have a CD installer for your motherboard, you can also use it to install this missing driver for your device.

Go to the "Code 10 "This device cannot start. (Code 10)" section.

Your device originally came from Intel, this means you need to download the driver installer from their official website itself and install it manually (usually, you will see that there is a latest driver already available for download).

Once there, select the appropriate operating system if there's a choice like x32 or 64 bit so it will match with your PC.
