    WiFi is slow on one laptop, but good on other devices


    Hi,I got a 1 year + Acer Helios 300 and I'm only getting a max speed of 20mbps download and upload here. My other old Dell laptop is getting the normal 200mbps as well as my iPhone and android phone. On the other hand, its all good when using ethernet. I tried some steps on what I can find in google but I'm still getting this slowness.     Hi Annu

    I've had the same problem as Panayiotis1984. Upgraded to Windows 10 on my Lenovo from windows 8.1 - now the wifi is painfully slow. The wifi still works fine on my other devices (smartphone etc).

    I tried the steps that you suggested but they did not bring an improvement.

    Any other suggestions?

    wifi device is missing some time

    Good day,

    Refs above mail, please be inform that i have already took the following steps, to fix the same. but nothing works.

    • updated device manager.
    • Release and refresh from command option.
    strange is that, when the issue occurs. following things observed.

    • wifi driver is vanish from device manager.
    • wifi laptop on/off switch light become orange means no wifi. but if i press the same button i use to see on desktop flight on and off.
    • when i used command (prompt) i saw there was only Ethernet data came. nothing related to wifi.
    • in network connection wifi option is not available. only Ethernet option.

    So please look in the above matter and do the needful.
