    Split from this thread.

    I have a 1 week old Digital Storm laptop 15 inch Nova and I'm having driver issues with the Intel Wifi 6 AX201 160 MHz adapter and I can't find a way to solve it.. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the driver, looked for updates and I have done a factory reset twice. the driver works for about 4-6 hours and then Wifi goes back to being unresponsive with no driver found in the PC. What's the deal here?!?! The Intel R Wi-Fi 6 AX201 160 MHz adapter

    :)

    So I am unsure of what your issue is. Could you give a step by step process you are following?

    When you go to available networks, you should see them (I- phone hot spot or institute WIFI) on your list. Are they there?

    Your device came with Microsoft Windows Phone 8.1, upgradable to Microsoft Windows 10. Did you upgrade it to 10?

    Windows 10 wifi not turning on Acer Aspire laptop

    In order to get the list of available wireless networks, you have to:

    1. Switch on Connect to suggested open hotspots (see the screenshot in question);
    2. Click on Wifi icon in the right corner. Now you have your networks back.

    After that the parameter from Step 1 can be turned off, networks will be listed normally after restarting Wifi.

    P.S. I feel rather stupid at the moment. I thought that open hotspots are passwordless hotspots and so are presumably not very safe. So of course I've turned that off during installation.
    Really hard to see any logic in this case.
