Windows 10: wifi missing in NETWORK & INTERNET

Hi, for the last few weeks I have not been able to get onto the internet, unless I keep turning on & off my laptop & then if I'm lucky for a short while I can get onto the net. before the laptop just permanently freezes

When I am off line. I look in network & internet, the Wi-Fi symbol does not show in the table of options in the left panel. I can't find it anywhere. But for the few moments that I am successful the symbol is there.

I have never had any trouble with my laptop, until recently. Could it be the latest Microsoft updates?

I have also uploaded screen shots of my continuing problems.

Hello, there is quite a number of threads on this topic, and some suggested approaches. The problem appears to arise with build 10586 (the 'November upgrade').

It could also help if you complete your system specs (esp what type of wifi card you have e.g.).
(If unsure how to do that there is a Tutorial - see link above)
Do you also have this problem with an ethernet connection?

This refers to the build change and suggests a somewhat radical command:
