Windows 10: Wifi not working - no internet, secured.

Windows 10, I thought my wifi stick was broke so I went and bought another one but I am still getting the same problem. Using: NETGEAR - N300 Wireless-N USB Adapter
Getting the following error: no ip configuration when troubleshooting. I've also tried using my phone as a hotspot so it isn't my internet. Can anyone help?
Also tried an older wifi stick, not the same one and same error. Tried reinstalling drivers

Also to add it was working fine until a few hours ago where I was randomly Dc'd during a csgo game, no recent downloads or changes in anything.

Wifi - No internet secured

So I spent about 12 hours trying to fix this issue before stumbling upon a solution. I tried everything I found online (cmd prompt netsh resets, at least 7 different versions), restarting 30 or so times, connecting/disconnecting to wifi, wifi network forgetting/reconnecting,
resetting router, clicking and unclicking the TCPIP6 thingy, uninstalling wireless device and deleting driver, reinstalling (at least 4 times), network resets and on and on and on.

What worked? I reset the windows firewall to default settings and uninstalled a program called Glasswire. Voila, internet works again!

there are probably multiple ways to reset the firewall, but I just searched Cortana for firewall and opened up firewall settings in windows defender and chose the option to restore settings.

Try rebooting your modem...unplug it for 5 minutes and then plug it back in.

 

Already done, my PC is the only one its not working on, works fine on 4 laptops/phones.

 

Any chance that somehow your device network settings got set to Static from DCHP?

Right click on wireless icon in systray, click on "Open Network and Sharing", click on link beside the word Connections, Click on properties, click on IP v4 midway down list, click on properties. Should be get automatically. If it is wrong also check ip v6 settings.

Worth a check
