    This is a suggestion for those who have tried other solutions and seen the problem persist. This is what has worked for me on an ACER Windows 10 Laptop.0. Assuming you have checked on internet speed, Hint: Google internet speed test sites.1. Select Windows key 2. Click Settings Gear Symbol3. Click Network & Internet4. Under Advanced network settings -> Click adaptor options5. Select the Wi-Fi box if it's not already selected6. Click "View status this connection" to view speed. Note: this readout can be almost double your tested internet speed.7. If slow Click Disable this n

    Hi Annu

    I've had the same problem as Panayiotis1984. Upgraded to Windows 10 on my Lenovo from windows 8.1 - now the wifi is painfully slow. The wifi still works fine on my other devices (smartphone etc).

    I tried the steps that you suggested but they did not bring an improvement.

    Any other suggestions?

    WiFi is slow on one laptop, but good on other devices

    Hi,

    I got a 1 year + Acer Helios 300 and I'm only getting a max speed of 20mbps (download and upload) here. My other old Dell laptop is getting the normal 200mbps as well as my iPhone and android phone. On the other hand, its all good when using ethernet. I tried some steps on what I can find in google but I'm still getting this slowness. Any help would be appreciated!

    Are you connected to a 2.4 GHz network at home? Bluetooth devices and some USB 3.0 devices plugged into a laptop's USB 3.0 port will create interference with your wifi. My bluetooth keyboard/mouse will halve my wifi speed. Add a usb 3.0 external hard drive and sometimes my wifi disconnects during peak transfer.
