Discus and support WiFi slow on Laptop works normal on all other devices in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; So i have a Dell Inspiron N4050 i3 4gb RAM running on windows10 The Wifi connection is very slow on the laptop, i checked with my network provider...     So i have a Dell Inspiron N4050 i3 4gb RAM running on windows10 The Wifi connection is very slow on the laptop, i checked with my network provider there wasnt a issue from their side and speed is fine if i connect via direct wire but cant do it every time .I updated drivers , did troubleshoot, followed some random cmd as suggested on different forums deleted temporary files and here i am i don't get to know what's the problemSpeed is just 2-3 Mbps which should be 40Mbps.Help.

    Hi Annu

    I've had the same problem as Panayiotis1984. Upgraded to Windows 10 on my Lenovo from windows 8.1 - now the wifi is painfully slow. The wifi still works fine on my other devices (smartphone etc).

    I tried the steps that you suggested but they did not bring an improvement.

    Any other suggestions?

    Are you connected to a 2.4 GHz network at home? Bluetooth devices and some USB 3.0 devices plugged into a laptop's USB 3.0 port will create interference with your wifi. My bluetooth keyboard/mouse will halve my wifi speed. Add a usb 3.0 external hard drive and sometimes my wifi disconnects during peak transfer.

    What WiFi security protocols are being used at home vs at work?

    Hello,

    I have an e61i and the wifi works but the download is slow. I compare it with a laptop connected to the same wifi access point and the laptop is about 10x faster at least. Any suggestions? phone is new so it has relatively latest software. thanks for any suggestions.
