Windows 10: Will 8 GB make WIN10 run ok on a Core 2 Duo?

A lot of posts on the net ask whether Win10 can run on old machines. But most of the inquiries seem to come from people with 4 GB or less RAM. Personally I can't use WIN7 with less than 8.

My travel laptop is my slowest machine, a Latitude e4300, Core2 Duo SP9600. (I like it because of the screen size / aspect ratio.) If I upgrade to WIN10, will the 8 GB RAM help ensure that I don't experience a slowdown?

Yes, I'm already using an SSD and hibernating between sessions.

Microsoft lists the Windows 10 minimum hardware requirements as:

• Processor: 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster processor or SoC.
• RAM: 1 gigabyte (GB) for 32-bit or 2 GB for 64-bit.
• Hard disk space: 16 GB for 32-bit OS 20 GB for 64-bit OS.
• Graphics card: DirectX 9 or later with WDDM 1.0 driver.
• Display: 800x600

But I reccomend

1. processor: 2.5 GHz Dual Core (Faster is better)
2. RAM :- 4 GB (2018 Atleast 8 GB)
3. HDD 320GB
4. GPU :- any (Nvidia Tiatan v is the Best)
5. Display :- 1920X1080 (Full HD)

Hi,
Recently updated with media creation tool and used update now on a 2009 model Gateway laptop
Win-7 dual core with only 3gb's of memory

Worked just fine on win-7 of course it was a 32bit os version mostly because that works best for this low end machine it came with 32 bit win-7 maybe Vista.

Now on win-10 home 32 bit still works fine.
