Windows 10: Will a plugin drawing tablet work with my Windows 10 computer in S mode?

Greetings,


I have a laptop in Windows 10 Ssafe mode and I want to get a plugin drawing tablet to use with some drawing programs. Most of the devices say they need a device driver installation and don't specify whether they work with Windows 10 S. Since the Windows 10 S mode blocks most downloads and installations would this installation driver be blocked as well? I Just don't want to buy the device to find out it doesn't work because the operating system blocks the file installation nor do I want to switch out of windows 10 S mode. Any advice would be welcome.

To make your drawing tablet work with Windows 10,

• Simply connect the ISM 2.4G USB receiver into your computer to start drawing
  wirelessly. Else, connect the tablet to your computer with the USB cable provided.
  
• Download the latest driver from the
  XP PEN website, for the tablet to function.
  
• After successful installation of driver, a driver icon will appear in your system tray and on your desktop. If the driver isn’t present,
  Uninstall the driver and Reboot the machine before you
  repeat the same steps.

Tablet mode not working in Windows 10.

Hi,

I appreciate if you could answer few questions to narrow down to the issue.

• 
  What happens when you try to turn on the tablet mode?
  
• 
  Did you receive any error message?
  
• 
  Did you install any third party security application?
  
• 
  Which is the build currently installed on the tablet?
  

As an initial troubleshooting step, I suggest you to download and install any pending updates that needs to be installed on the computer through Windows update and check if it helps to resolve the issue.

As a work around, I suggest you to try to switch it on by following the below steps:

1. Select the horizontal stripes icon (All Apps) on the bottom left corner of the screen.

2. Select Settings on the menu.

3. Go to System and then click on Tablet Mode.

4. Turn the option ON.

5. Close the window.

My tablet mode doesnt work

Hello,

To turn on tablet mode on Windows 10, kindly follow these steps:

• Click on Start; then select Settings.
• Select System; then click on Tablet Mode.
  
• Turn on Tablet Mode.
