    Will anyone be able to download an iso for W10 threshold 2 on Nov 10 (not an insider build)? I just want to keep my isos images updated.

    HI I don't know about an iso but after you install win 10 on july 29th try this go to a search engine type in windows media creator when it pulls up link click it install it will give you information about the different editions of win 10 ..then go to your
    inf in windows see what edition of win 10 you have click it in windows media creator and it will download the iso of your edition you have and burn it to dvd.. all windows 7 and 8.1 users genuine keys will work on windows 10 you have to have those keys in
    order to even activate windows 10

    Will I be able to download an ISO file for Windows 10 when the free upgrade is released?

    What if I want to format the HDD and install Windows 10 from scratch or have a HDD failure and need to reinstall windows 10 onto a new fresh HDD? Will I be able to do that from the .iso?

    I'm guessing yes? If the consumer edition becomes a new build number higher than 10240, they pretty well have to release new ISO's. I'll be checking MSDN round about that date. If new ISO's show up there I would expect the MCT to be updated too.

    You will most likely be able to, but there is no guarantee you can do so on the 10th.
