    CPU usage is stuck at 100%

    I’m not sure. I also ran Malwarebytes and scanned my computer using ESET Smart Security. Is there malware that is hidden from applications such as these?

    The problem with Eset on that one computer is that the subscription was just renewed and it's running Eset Smart Security 9. I keep getting advice from Eset that is consistent with Eset Smart Security 8 on how to send them firewall logs. The procedure
    doesn't work for Eset Smart Security 9.

    But I can work around the problem. I made Firefox the default browser on that machine. Firefox, by the way, can take plugins (hint, hint Microsoft!)
