    I am running windows 10 22h2 and its working fine with my pretty much 7 years old laptop.Will windows 11 run after bypassing minimum system requirements?My specs: AMD A8 dual core processor 2.4 ghz clock speed Overclock 5ghz4gb ram500gb hdd MBR AMD Radeon graphicsNo tpm and secure bootKindly help me if my laptop can run win11 23h2.I have a good 200gb internet connectivity.

    Windows 11 Now available on 2 Year Old Laptop.

    This has come as a surprise.

    My 2 year old HP Envy Core I7 8th Gen, laptop now shows that Windows 11 is available to install. (I don't want to install just now at 7-00 AM, as am looking for daily news etc).

    I declined the offer to update, for now.

    Will the install (Windows11) notification appear again?
    Will the install instructions detail the precise steps for backup/install/revert to Windows10, etc?

    I'm looking for suggestions on the best way to re-purpose an old laptop as an external backup medium.

    Here is the current situation:

    1. We have 4 Windows 10 laptops at home

    2. I have an old (about 8 years) Windows 7 laptop

    What are the options to use the old laptop for backup?
