    Hi Daveyk,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community. I understand your concern and I am glad to assist you.

I would suggest you to run the hardware and device troubleshooter and check.

Try these steps to run the troubleshooter:

    • Type troubleshooting in the search bar.
    • Click view all in the left panel.
    • Select ‘Hardware and devices' and follow the on-screen instructions.
Please also update chipset drivers from the computer manufacturer's website

  3. DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE for Acer Aspire V5-571PG after upgrading to Windows 10

DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE for Acer Aspire V5-571PG after upgrading to Windows 10

My Acer Aspire V5-571PG crashed twice in two days since I have upgraded to Windows 10.

    These are the minidump

I have already upgraded to the latest Nvidia 355.60 driver yesterday but it crash again today.

I have been using my laptop for both yesterday and today. I experienced two unexplained crashes while I am actively using my computer, so the cause is probably not some low power events. This laptop never crashes when I was using Windows 8 or Windows 8.1, I
am pretty sure this crash is related to Windows 10.

Can someone tell me the cause of my crash?

I have tried looking at the crash dump using WhoCrashed and AppCrashView but I can't figure out exactly which driver might be causing the problem.

I have checked Acer web site and there is no updated or Windows 10 driver listed for this laptop.

I see some people reported DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE problem due to their WIFI or Bluetooth driver but both are disabled on my system, so they can't be causing the crash.

I am using ethernet connection for internet and I see my Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller is signed by Microsoft Windows, Driver version 9.1.401.2015, Date 1/04/2015. I don't think my problem is related to network driver because it would probably crash more
    often than I have experienced.

I did not upgrade my Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000 graphics driver but its driver version match the latest version on Intel's site, i.e. Version 10.18.10.4252.

    Below is information WhoCrashed provides
