    Friends,

    I have updated my system to windows 10 after nos of unsuccessful trials and error.

    What I did, I copied my all date to spare hard disk. Format the hard disk completely and removing all the partitions. Installed Windows 7 without any updates of SR1, drivers and other software directly upgrade it to windows 10 using windows 10 ISO downloaded
    from microsoft official site. I got success in the same.

    so for windows 10 upgrade no need to remove extra peripherals, or update windows 7 with SR1 and all Microsoft updates till you get windows 10 update notifications.

    In short If you are unable to update to windows 10 though you are getting notification, format the system completely say clean installation. Upgrade it to windows 10 without any problems or error.
