Windows 10: Win 10 & 11 BSOD on HP 440 G9

Hi, We are facing BSOD on win 10 and 11 21H2 and 22H2. It is mostly happening on HP 440 G9 i7 12th gen. We upgraded the ram from 8 to 16 GB during purchase.After the issue, we changed RAM, SSD, new OS installation, drivers update but nothing is resolving the issue. We asked HP if there is manufacture probolem but they are saying no. I did analyze memory dump for one of the laptop with below details.Dump DATE-9th Aug 23 BAD_POOL_CALLER c2 The current thread is making a bad pool request. Typically this is at a bad IRQL level or double freeing the same allocation, etc. Arguments: Arg1: 00000

The G9 did look very nice. The next step for gaming is wireless reliability. When wireless is reliable, then the computer is in for a revolution!

 

When we install windows 11 directly in HP ProBook 440 G8, domain WiFi network doesn't work. Shows error as "can't connect to this network"

We have done troubleshooting to connect our domain Wi-Fi network on model HP Probook 440 G8. Please find the below points of troubleshooting.



1) We installed windows 10 on this model and Wi-Fi connected on system

2) We upgraded system from windows 10 to windows 11 and then tried to connect Wi-Fi. And its connected successfully.

3) We installed windows 11 directly on this model and tried to connect Wi-Fi but it is not connecting to system.



Kindly help us to resolve this Wi-Fi connectivity issue for HP Probook 440 G8.

Installation Win 11 WEIRD behavior

Hi, this is a Windows 11 question. You appear to be referring (though it's not absolutely clear) to a clean install of Win 11.

elevenforum.com supports Win 11 - I suggest you register there- you will find many tenforums members there.

When you post there, please clarify

That would imply you deleted all partitions of your existing Windows 10 and installed to unallocated space on your disk.
Is that correct?

This suggests this is a build customised by HP. Windows normally includes all drivers needed; exceptions can be hardware and features specific to a particular model.

There are several threads about not being able to type in search boxes on tenforums with solutions.

However, this forum focusses on Win 10. Those threads may help you with that, although you should not be experiencing such problems with a clean install. Feel free to search tenforums for thise threads.

Note too your PC is under warranty- so feel free to contact HP support and use their forum.

Which server? something to do with HP? If so, suggest you refer to HP.
