    Win 10 1803 to 1903 failed at 60% everytime


    Hi Guys. Normally I am able to figure these things out myself but I'm at wits end. I've been unable to update for months. Every time I initiate an update, or it does it automatically, it stops at 60% with the message that one of windows components couldn't be installed. It then rolls everything back. Over the last few months, I've tried:

    - Media creation tool
    - Clean booting
    - Updated drivers and BIOS
    - DISM
    - Removed antivirus
    - Jacked around with my partitions
    - Tried a bunch of different YouTube vids
    - Looked into Panther files
    - Received this error: The installation failed in the FIRST_BOOT phase with the error during SYSPREP operation.
    - Tried to uninstall IIS - failed
    - Tried to uninstall .NET framework - failed
    - Cursed at it and Microsoft - failed

    A couple years ago on this system I used to dual boot it with Linux, but I stripped it out a long time ago. I can't think of what to do or try next. I'll do just about anything, except a reinstall. Can someone walk me through a solution?

    Win 10 1803 to 1903 update

    My Desktop computer running Win 10 updated from version 1803 to 1903 a while back, but my Desktop running Win 10 version 1803

    I'm assuming the update 1803 to 1903 has now resumed after the earlier problems caused a suspension?

    Any thoughts, suggestions?

    Windows 10 update 1903 failing at 60%

    Hi,

    I've been trying to update to Windows 10 1903 so I can install the Game Pass PC beta but for the past two days every time I try it fails at 60%.

    I've tried everything on the below page with no luck

    After installing windows 10 1903 Sage Report Designer fails to start

    After installing windows 10 1903 Sage Report Designer fails to start. Yesterday there was no problem before the update.

    Seems to be a rights issue:

    DOESN'T WORK:

    • logged in to Win 10 under my own account (with administrator rights)
    • logged in to Win 10 under my own account and run Sage as an administrator

    DOES WORK:

    • logged in to Win 10 using the administrator account (that I had to activate)

    Is this a known issue for 1903? Will it be fixed?
