Win 10 1909 Install reverts to 1803 on its own

    Hello,

Our company is pushing out the 1909 install currently on 1803. The install takes an inordinately long time but does successfully install after several hours. HOWEVER, for reasons unknown, the laptop reverts back to 1803 within a day or two afterward. Our tech support has taken a run at it and was unable to solve it and wants to rebuild the entire laptop. As I am working from home this is not at all convenient. Does anyone have any ideas why the install reverts and what could possibly be done about it?

    Thank you,

    ECvS

    :)

  2. Following Win 10 Update (1803): Unable to print (Printer offline message).

    Printer Samsung ML2950 Series.

I have followed all the suggestions here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4027397/windows-10-fix-printer-problems

None of them fix the problem.

The printer is working fine. Another WIN 10 computer on the network is able to print to the printer without issue.

    Latest updates:

    • WIN 10 1803

    and

    • Security Update for Adobe Flash for Win 10 1803 KB4338832

I uninstalled KB4338832 and the problem persists, so I presume that the problem is with the 1803 update (as that took around 2 hours to install, I'm reluctant to uninstall it to test it).

  3. Windows 10 1909 Causes Secondary Hard Drive to not be Recognized

Installing the Windows 10 1909 Update causes my secondary hard drive to not be recognized.

    Steps to confirm issue:

    • Secondary drive not visible in Windows Explorer
    • Secondary drive not visible in device manager
    • Secondary drive not visible in disk manager

    Steps to replicate issue:

    • Installing 1909 update

    Steps to resolve issue:

    • Uninstall 1909 update

Since updates can only be delayed for so long, an actual fix would be appreciated.
