Windows 10: win 10 2004 problems

running win 10 2004 kb 4559309 with latest edge on Lenovo 64 bit sys ,686 GB free, ideapad i30-151kb,8gb ram


prob 1. page scrolls to top... have tried your suggestion of turning off/on auto colour was off in Person.... made no diff


prob 2 . On log in-- screen jumps not allowing pin to be accepted forcing me to use ms password or std A1 ...... process then my pin no and i'm in


prob 3 on a asus LP win 1909 sys with bouncing icons in tray and random desktop icons on start up for a period then settles for awhile


running sys on AC Wifi extender with 35/18 strength


problems became apparent with latest up dates only.

Problem with 2004 IS0

It does help if you read the replies *Wink I mentioned the 4GB Fat32 limit in post #6

As for getting MCT to run on your machines, I showed in post #6 a screenshot of it running on mine.

In post #18 I suggested troubleshooting steps to get the MCT to run, and if that failed a way to split up an install.wim that's larger than 4GB.

 

Windows 10 1709 System Restore problems...

That seems to be an attempt at Option 2 in the tutorial, which requires you to
a. Boot to a command prompt (Did you?)
b. You then seem to be mixing steps 3,4 and 5, thus your command is incorrect.

I suggest Option 1 is easier.

If you still have problems, please repost listing each specific step and saying which option from the tutorial you are using. Thanks.

 

Problem with 2004 IS0

Not true. I have had W10 installed since August 2015 and have downloaded and run the MCT for every new ISO since then. Here it is....





If it doesn't run for you, that's not normal. What errors does it report?

Dalchina's suggestion to try Heidoc will, unfortunately, download another ISO that contains an install.wim. Only the MCT makes an ISO with an install.esd, whicch is a more compresse format. Microsoft always ensure that the install.esd is smaller than Fat32's 4GB maximum file size.
