Windows 10: Win 10 Activation issue

I originally upgraded for free from windows 7 to 10. I have recently built a new PC under the impression that my product key was linked to my Microsoft account due to the free upgrade from 7. I cannot get windows 10 to activate and I no longer have the originally key from windows 7. I have looked all over for a solution and have yet to find one.

I suggest that you use the TechNet forums for this particular issue. This forum is consumer-oriented (Win 10 Home, Pro). TechNet is IT oriented (Win 10, Pro, Enterprise, MSDN, Server 2012-R2, etc.).

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
