Win 10 after creators update installed

After creators update installed I have gotten pages Windows services running. My machine is running at about 50% CPU. At idle it's usually around 15 to 2%. I've never seen so many services running at 1 time sine Win NT!!

Creators up date killed my computer twice

Thank you for your reply. However it did not help. Both times when Creator up tried to install, The installation stopped after 26 and about 32 percent installed. The msg on the screen read " no operating system installed. I tried a boot disk however
Win 10 would not boot up. I tried a repair disk and it could not repair the system as it to come out with no operating system installed. The first time I reinstalled the Win 10 operating system and all programs and files. The second time Creator update
tried to install the same msg came up. Again it would not boot up or repair. I could not bring up Win 10 pro no mater what I tried. I am going to have to reinstall Win 10 pro again and defer The creator update

My Laptop worked very up to the time Creator update tried to install. I suspect that there may be a glitch in the installation of Creator update trying to install on Win 10 pro. I have since found out ( after talking to IT professionals I know ) That
this problem is not all that uncommon With some of the Win 10 pro users.

Thank you again for your help

Win 10 after creators update installed

A change was made in Creators Update regarding how services were run. Previously each instance svchost.exe could be hosting multiple services. From 1703 on each service is hosted separately. It looks at first glance that a lot more services are running, but actually it's about the same number - it's just that you can see them all now.

    http://www.winhelponline.com/blog/vi...st-windows-10/

That's because svchost.exe only started hosting multiple services from Win2000 on.

Sooo !! your telling me this is all oki doke!!?? if so,,, is there a way to disable some service(s) or any other way to take down or cripple the creators update? I could give a hoot less about this creators update feature. Is the O.S. going to become blotware?

The services are no more bloated than they were before the Creators Update. It's just that you can see them all individually now, so it looks like there are more of them. Previously each svchost.exe was running two, three, four or more services so you didn't see them all - but they were there, hiding from sight.

In Task Manager click on the CPU column to sort by descending order of processor time. Do that on the Processes and the Details tabs. That should give you an idea of what's taxing your processor.

Post screenshots, once identified we may be able to help further.
(try not to include your 'capture' utility, it's obscuring the view. the snipping tool is a better alternative)

1st of all what are all these blank gear icons(Snippit Screen Capture 01 & 02)?? It looks to me "services DCOM: Server process launcher" & "Windows Explorer" are the 2 big users of the CPU's time
