  1. win 10 Boot Manager

I have 2 win 10 operating systems one on SSD and one on HDD. On boot up Win 10 Boot Manager Displays 2 Boxes one below the other with "Win 10 on Volume 3" and with "Win 10 on Volume 7". I have to select one box or the other to boot Windows 10 otherwise it boots the highlighted box. I have tried to find out which one is the SSD and which is the HDD but all the online suggestions don't seem to work. None of Disk Management, Diskpart or bcdedit give the correct volume number for the 2 operating systems.

Can anyone tell me how Boot Manager works out which is which?

    :)

    Win 10 boots...

I can't answer to the speed of Win-8 booting. I tried the Win-8 preview and went back to Win-7 after a month. They say that Win-8.1 is a lot better than Win-8 was.
My Win-10 TP is working well ATM.

    Best/Prefered Partition & Boot Manager

I'm looking for a partition and boot manager for my PC once I get my HDD back.. Since PowerQuest had merged with Symantec, it previous line of products (PartitionMagic/BootMagic 8) seems a bit outdated (eg, no Win Server 2003 support, some bugs, etc.)... Any suggestions?

    dual boot win 10

I had upgraded my old 32 bit win 10 to a 64 bit win 10 system and while I was transferring my files, I dual booted from the original 32 bit Win 10 system. Now that everything is running smoothly, I would like to remove the old 32 bit partition and included
the space in my new 64 bit system. However, when I go into the disk management, it is listing the old 32 bit system as 'system, active, primary' partition and is listing my new 64 bit system as (boot, pagefile, crash dump, primary partiton). I am afraid to make
this partition as active in case I lose all my files. Any suggestion of how to get rid of the 32 bit partition and make the 64 bit system bootable?

    Thanks
