Windows 10: Win 10 crashes often, how can I read MEMORY.DMP files?

I have an issue where my computer will suddenly reboot for no apparent reason. Over the last week or so my PC has been powering down but today it rebooted fully by itself. I checked with event viewer and this time I have a crash dump MEMORY.DMP but I cannot read the contents to see if I can figure out the issue.

Is there a reader that will assist here?

Download BlueScreenView, unpack the ZIP, and run the EXE (no installation necessary). It's an excellent little utility for looking at DMP files and finding the cause of crashes.

Windows 10 Crash - Cannot Read dmp file

Windows 10 installed without a flaw from Windows 7. It worked well for several months. Then, after an update, it began crashing at least once per day with the BSOD. Annoyingly, it gathers data on each crash which I cannot stop, wasting my time. But the data
is not shared with me. When re-booted, it scrambles some of the icons on the desktop (a problem which I have not seen since much earlier versions of Windows).

I downloaded the troubleshooting application from the Software Development Kit (SDK) but I cannot read the .dmp file because I receive a message that I do not have permission to view it. I tried relocating the file (as suggested in a support forum) but that
did not work. I logged out and logged in as administrator, but that did not work either. I checked the drivers for the drives, video, audio, etc and all show they are up to date. What can I do at this point?
