    Win 10 crashing after Sept 19 update


    My PC crashes with suspicious regularity after 16:25 [plus or minus 5 seconds]

    16:28 [didn't log reason in time]

    16:24 System service exception

    16:23 Kmode exception not handled

    16:33 System service exception

    16:23 Kernal mode heap corruption....

    Apologies for confusing you.


    • The computer with the freezing problem following the Win 10 Sept update is a Desktop PC

    • It is the same one referred to in the Nov 15 thread

    I have very similar Edge crashes listed in Reliability Monitor. It all started after cumulative patch KB4038788 was applied this morning, Sept 13 2017.
