Windows 10: Win 10 end of service

I have a Dell laptop with WIN 10 Home. I have updates on Auto download/install. My computer downloaded update 1903 on June 29 last year. It tried to install 6/29/19, 8/29/19 and twice on 11/11/19. All 4 attempts failed. Now I see that my version of WIN 10 1803 has reached its end of service. So, two questions: ! Why was I not notified of the install failures. It seems that if any had been successful, I would not be at and end of service point, and 2 does this require that I buy a new WIN 10 download?

Running Services on Win 7 and Win 10

Is there a list of the default services for Win 7 and or Win 10 that should be running anywhere on the Net?

If you can't run service.msc, you can end running services using Task Manager. To know how, follow the steps below:

• On the Search bar, type task manager and select Task Manager on the list.
• Click the More details drop-down arrow.
• Select all the apps you want to stop on the list.
• Click End task.

After doing so, try doing a scan again and see if issue will persist.

Meanwhile, I suggest you to Run the Deployment Image Servicing and Management (DISM) tool which fixes the Windows corruption error if there are any. Follow the steps:

• 
  Press Windows+X.
  
• 
  Click on Command Prompt (Admin).
  
• 
  Type the command DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
  and hit Enter.
