Windows 10: Win 10 error: 0XC0AA0301

I keep getting this code while trying to burn a cd. through itunes


Im only trying to put 38 mins onto a disc so not to limit.


I have updated cd / dvd drivers. Also unistalled and let it reinstall when booting up.


I have slowed down speed of burning.


I have updated anything needed on Windows.


I have even done a complete factory reset of computer i know...extreme to remove any issues.


I have tried removing the UPPER and LOWER cases thingy :- as read on line but then my computer wouldnt restart. that was all before the factory reset


I have managed to burn a dvd with video on so i know the burner works.


As i have devices that dont read DVD - R i cant just copy music on to them if thats an option. I have got itunes to burn music to a dvd-R but wont cd - r although was doing it fine all before. I have tried different make discs.


Im thinking of buying an External DVD writer as last option but that i would check before doing


Anyone got any thoughts ?

I get this error code (0xC0AA0301) coming up when I try to burn a cd. Can someone help to eliminate this error?

Hi,

This might be caused by a corrupted or outdated drivers. Were there any recent changes made on your device prior to the issue? Was it working properly before? We suggest that you update the driver and see if the same error will occur afterwards. Follow the
steps below:

• Open Device Manager.
• Look for DVD/CD-ROM drives and click it to expand.
• Select the driver then right-click on it and select Properties.
• Under Driver tab, click the Update Driver
  button to update the driver.

How to fix 0xC0AA0301 Error

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

I understand how difficult it is, when the devices won't work in the way it should. You can add around 80 minutes of music to one audio CD. For us to isolate the issue, we'd like to know more information on this.

What is the make and the model number of the computer?

I'd suggest you to update the firmware for the drive and chipset drivers for the computer from the system manufacturer site and check if it helps.
