    Win 10 Faxes not sending


    Win 10 faxes are not sending. The modem diagnostics are good; the faxes are shown as pending but the modem does not open the phone line and send the faxes.Peter

    Windows Fax and Scan of Win 10 Pro - not working

    Please help me generate solution; I need a step-by-step for it.

    I have the ff:

    • USR5637 FaxMoDem; driver is installed and recognized by Win 10 Pro Build 17134; no error mark on Device Manager
    • Connected to USB Comm Port 4
    • Connected to Arris Router's RJ11 Port
    • The Windows Fax and Scan - Desktop App, is also setup
    • I tried sending fax using The Windows Fax and Scan - Desktop App, but it fails and displays "fax is not sent due to unexpected error"
    • I tried it many times.
    • Desktop is Dell XPS 8700

    Incompatible driver, outdated driver and incorrect settings are a few of the reasons why you are experiencing issues with sending fax in Windows 10. To set up a fax account, follow the steps below:



    • Type Fax in Search.
    • Launch Windows Fax and Scan.
    • Select Fax.
    • Click the Tools menu.
    • Click Fax Accounts.
    • Click Add.
    • In the Fax Setup Wizard, click Connect to a fax server on my network and follow the instructions.


    If the issue persists, try checking and installing any driver update. Here’s an

    10.

    • What happens when you try to send a fax message from your laptop?
    • Are there any error codes that appear when you send a fax message?
    • Were there any changes made on your computer prior to the issue?
