Windows 10: Win 10 File History won't save Documents or Pictures to USB drive

Documents and Pictures are too big to save on the Cloud, so they reside on my C: drive. OneDrive is still installed, but I don't use it.

When I set the Backup options, it says Documents and Pictures on my C: drive will be saved, and the ones on OneDrive will be excluded. But when I examine the contents of File History stored on my external USB drive, Documents were not saved. How can I get a backup of those?

File History drive

I would like to inform you that if your File History drive has been disconnected for too long, or it doesn't have enough space to save temporary versions of your files. To continue saving copies of your files, you'll need to reconnect your File History drive.
Plug in your external File History drive or reselect your network. You can start a backup manually or wait for the next scheduled backup or reselect the drive. Here is the steps:

To manually start a backup

• 
  Open File History by pressing Windows key> type File History
  > Click on File History.

  Tap or click Back up now.
  

To reselect your drive

• 
  Open File History by pressing Windows key> type File History
  > Click on File History.
  
• 
  Tap or click Select drive.
  
• 
  On the Select a File History drive page, tap or click your current drive or network location, and then tap or click
  OK.

Win 10 changed Pictures authorization

I tried to save a picture to my hard drive\Picture file today. Windows blocked it saying I did not have authorization and I could ask the Administrator for permission. I'm the administrator. I checked Control Panel and I'm listed as the Administrator.


This problem didn't show up in Win 10. So far, I hate Win 8.1 and Win 10

Edit that: I cannot save any pictures of my pictures file!!!!!!

OMG Edit: I cannot save any document to any file other than my Google Drive.

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

• Plug USB hard drive into old computer.
• Open File Explorer (Win+E) and open the USB drive.
• Open another File Explorer window and open your documents folder.
• Drag files to the USB drive.
• Move drive to new computer.
• Drag files to their new homes in the matching documents/pictures/videos/whatever folders you use to organize.
