Windows 10: Win 10 Guest password. Also, password reset disk.

I recently upgraded a Dell desktop from Win 7 Pro to Win 10 using a new full installed disc purchased from Microsoft. My machine says that I now have build version 18363.592. When I try to login as a Guest, which I had on Win 7 with no password, it is now requiring a password. I don't know the password. I never created a password for Guest. What can I do to either reset the password for Guest or remove Guest and then add it without a password or with a new password?


Also, is it true that my version of Win 10 will not allow a password reset disk to be created?

reset guest password

Let's look into your local users and update or set a new password for your Guest account. Follow the steps below:

• Click the Windows key, then search and open Local Users and Groups.
• Open the Users folder.
• Right-click the Guest entry. On the menu, select Set Password.
• Select Proceed, then type in the new password.
• Click OK to save the changes.
