    Win 10 Home 1803, Windows Update and Store errors 80070015, 80240034


    Hello,

    I accidentally interrupted my Internet connection last week during the early download phase of Windows Update.

    I was installing these October 2018 updates -4100347, 4462919, 4462930, 890830.

    Now, all attempts at Windows Update fail with 80070015 and 80240034.

    I manually downloaded and successfully installed those updates.

    Yesterday, 4462933 arrived and it failed with the same errors.

    Windows Store app updates also fail with 80070015.


    I've tried everything that sounds reasonable:


    Chkdsk

    Sfc

    Renamed Software Distribution and Catroot2

    Windows Update Troubleshooter

    Clean Boot

    WUReset2.0 (third-party, completed with errors)

    Servicing Stack 4456655 (already installed)

    DISM.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth


    None have cured the Windows Update download problems.


    A repair install is NOT an option. I have a low storage system (32GB) with only 6GB free.


    I never thought a simple connection loss would destroy Windows Update.

    What else can I try?

    Hi

    I have a Lumia 640 running windows 8.1 and lattetly I cannot playback any of my stored videos and error 80070015 appears on the screen. Any ideas to resolve the problem??? Thanks in advance.

    Win10: windows update stuck at never ending loop ?

    When in win10:
    • Update&security -> Windows update -> Finding update... .... .... ....
    Planning to download the latest Win10.ISO (vers.1803) and manually update:
    - Then wait that my ordered new SSD arrives and clone the old HDD to it.
