Windows 10: Win 10 instalation

How do i install a new retail copy of windows 10 that I had to purchased, because my repair person put a win 10 copy on my computer that can't be activated. I don't want to loose anything on my C drive with is where I have all my programs. Especially because MS let me go ahead and put in all my product keys for my other programs again before it started telling me I didn't really have a copy of win10 that works.
They also never call you back, which is the worst service ever. I spent 3 days trying to get thru. They just badger you until you have to buy. I had a repair disk but that also seems to be missing the setup.exe.
Will the retail version I bought just go over what is there now? I don't have it yet so I just want to know the process. Do I need to delete this computer from my ms account first? Should I just move everything on my C drive to my Data drive??? How would you do this.

Hey Dj Urko, I am trying to install the realtek driver and I get the error 0x0001. I have disabled secure boot and Driver signature. I have the latest win 10 build. What am I doing wrong? Can u post the complete list of steps that I have to take? I have an asus z170 with alc1150.

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.

Meanwhile, I suggest you to Run the Deployment Image Servicing and Management (DISM) tool which fixes the Windows corruption error if there are any. Follow the steps:

• 
  Press Windows+X.
  
• 
  Click on Command Prompt (Admin).
  
• 
  Type the command DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
  and hit Enter.
