Windows 10: Win 10 laptop Overheating problem due to some? software.

Hi all. Win 10 was working well on my Toshiba Satellite.(i7 4 gig ram)
Then I lost the ability to download with Cannon Camera software. This program stopped working. ( got off pictures by removing SD card and putting it direct in laptop.)

Next computer slows down and run st 55 to 60 Deg C. (air temp about 23 deg and desktop computer running at 35 deg.)

Then Blue screen telling me Video_Krnl............ failed/error.
Ran restore point and system worked again for a while(2 days).
Now I can only get 3 to 4 minutes before blue screening and failing.
Have blown out cooling fins but little to no dust as computer is only just one year old.
Regularly run AVG and Wise 365 cleaner over it.

Any suggestions about the next step would be appreciated

Windows 10 Installation Error C1900101-2000C

Overheating isn't the problem, it's a symptom. My laptop is doing the same thing. It's failing the install due to overheating. My laptop never overheated before and the fact that so many people are having the same problem means the problem is with Windows
10, NOT our CPU fans. Obviously, something during the installation process is causing the overheating.

My guess is the setup process is forcing the cpu to work harder than it should have to (a memory leak, or a race condition between cpu threads, IDK something) because Microsoft's installer is broken. (not that MS will ever admit they screwed up)

I guess it's time to go back to Linux. I never should have made the mistake of giving MS another chance to begin with.

 

Overheating with window 10

My laptop ( HP m6 dx1105 ) was overheating and shut down while I was playing LOL, this problem never happened before until my laptop got upgraded to win 10. I also didn't open many app while i was playing. I really need help !

 

G-day mate I have two Toshiba sat. laptops One about 3 years old the other about 9 months old both running win. 10. The older one starts acting up from over heating about every 12 months. First sign of trouble is the nvidia display driver crashes a little later 2 weeks to a month it will over heat and shut down.
The best way to clean it I found was to pull it apart take out the fan and unclog the dust and crap caught up in outlet/heatsink.
While I had it apart i drilled some more vent holes in the bottom of the Chassis.
The other more powerful lappy runs at 50c at idle and up to 79c playing games like fallout 4. Had no problems yet of it over heating but ready for it to happen.
I don't think your problem is heat related as your machine should automatically turn it self off.
Maybe A clean install of Windows 10 if you can to see if problem persists.
