Windows 10: win-10 looks very odd after new video card

Discus and support win-10 looks very odd after new video card in Windows 10 Support to solve the problem; Wow that is a very interesting lock screen wallpaper.... Is that a MS wallpaper or custom?     thank you all. i found a pci-2.0 card -- and now am reinstalling win-10....

    i went ahead and tried it again, putting the pci-3.0 into the pci-2.0 slot and then reloaded the OS. that seems to work fine (so far anyways).

    apparently, my big mistake was i should have first booted in safe-mode and then removed all the video-drivers for the old video-card, then swapped it out for the new one.

    so there is pci-2.0, pci-3.0, etc and dvi-I, dvd-D, etc. and then there is directPort, hdmi, etc.

    should i confess i sorta miss the old simple vga days?
