    I am connecting my Ipad to my Win 10 system using Duet.

    Is it possible to have the Ipad running in Win 10 Tablet mode while my main desktop screen is not?

    Hello dobransky,

    To use tablet mode with multiple displays you will need to change your display project mode (Win+P) to "PC screen only". You can change it back to "Extend" when you turn off tablet mode.

    The blue note box in the tutorial below can provide more details to help more.

    I believe this is a known issue with Windows 10 -- that tablet mode is deactivated if the computer has multiple displays. Has anyone devised a workaround?

    Tablet Mode - Multiple Monitors - Windows 10 Desktop

    Up until this weekend, I had been using the Technical Preview version of Windows 10. I unfortunately can't remember what build I was on. I have since removed technical preview and installed the release version of Windows 10.

    The preview build I was on, allowed me to use the tablet mode start menu with multiple displays.

    The standard release does not. I get the error message "Tablet mode isn't available while using multiple displays".

    Is there a way to activate tablet mode while running multiple displays? If not, when will that functionality be enabled in the release version of Win 10 like it was in the Technical Preview?

    I am running a custom built Desktop PC. If you need specs, let me know, but it shouldn't matter.
