    Win 10 nag

How do I get rid of the periodic "Lets Finish Setting Up Your Device" nag screen. My only options are to "CONTINUE" or "REMIND ME IN THREE DAYS". My computer works just fine without "finishing" the setup. Fortunately, if I click on the REMIND option I usually don't see this screen for weeks if not months leading me to suspect that it's being generated by recent MS updates .

  2. Windows 10 upgrade/update nags

Hi - my laptop came with Windows 10 Home Premium. I've used it without problems for a couple years, but recently I am getting constant and severe nags to update to the latest version of Windows 10. These nags are 'constantly interrupting my work'. They
are authentic MS nags. The problem is... I run old versions of a couple programs that prevent the updates from completing, and these are old programs that I simply "can not" replace. I MUST continue to run these programs that run fine on Win 10 as is. My
question: since it's impossible to complete the Win 10 updates with these programs installed... is there ANY way to disable all the nags??? If not, I will be forced to revert back to Win 7 with a fresh install. Thanks for any answers!

Windows Update Nags for Windows 10

There have now been seven (7) Windows Update KB's regarding Win 10. To keep blocking these off my three (3) computers, I am forced to refrain from using automatic windows updates, in lieu of restricting download installation until I check each update
for a possible (probable) Win 10 Nag by going on the internet to ask for information regarding each proposed update KB. I will not update to Win 10, as my Win 7's works just fine. By forcing me to check each update, instead of allowing me to automatically
update, Microsoft is placing my computers at risk, should I miss a legitimate non-Win 10-Nag update. I have had to uninstall these seven (7) KB's from the computers of many friends, neighbors and associated firms, who unwittingly automatically installed them
and suffered the consequences. As are many users who do not wish to have these nags appear, I am certain that Microsoft is causing itself an unnecessary major consumer nightmare and rebellion. When will Microsoft stop, if ever? John P.
