  1. Win 10 Pro 10 x64 1809 and 1903 File Explorer Status Bar is gone

    Hello,

I have exactly the same trouble with 1809 and 1903 Win 10 version as a previous user https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/win-10-pro-10017763348-1809-file-explorer-status/43b26555-5893-46ca-a601-c066b9d74663

It is very irritating, for now I stay on 1803 because I can't live without the details/pictures switch buttons who are included in the explorer status bar.

Show status bartick/untick doesn't change anything, registry statusbar 0/1 doesn't change anything.

If I log in the built-in Administrator account, the status bar is back but I need it on my personal account of course.

Please give us a solution because we can't stay on 1803 forever.

    :)

  2. Win 10 Pro 10.0.17763 File Explorer Status Bar is gone

Changing "Show status bar" in advance settings does nothing.

The reg key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced is set to 1.

I recently did a "repair upgrade" because system seemed slower than it should be, other issues. Status bar was gone after the repair upgrade.

  3. Has the status bar definitely disappeared from File Explorer in 1903?

    Hello all,

I recently upgraded my PC's to 1809, then 1903. I've noticed that File Explorer doesn't show a status bar anymore. All I can find about this topic are old threads about insider builds and ways to make the status bar hide or appear (via View -> Options and/or the Registry), but I've already tried those and no status bar appears. Neither can I find anything in Microsoft's information about updates. So, does anyone know if it has gone for good? That would be a shame, as I found the number of selected files in the status bar quite handy.

Any help and/or information will be greatly appreciated.

    Regards, Jaap.

Win 10 Pro 10.0.17763.348 (1809) File Explorer Status Bar is gone

File explorer status bar has disappeared. I've tried scannow and dism, tried "repair upgrade", then repeated.

I also checked ALL valuers of "ShowStatusBar" in the registry - all are set to "1".
