  1. Win 10 Pro, 64 Bit, Intel i3 2100 @ 3.10GHZ : Sleep or Hibernate?

I have read repeated restarts during a day can cause wear on your hard drive. My desktop PC is on usually 14-16 hours day with intervals of maybe 20 minutes to 3-4 hours when not using it.

My question for the community is should I use Sleep mode, or Hibernate? And at optimum settings for how I use my PC.

    Current Setting are:

Turn Off display after 10 min.

Put PC to Sleep after 15 min.

    Advanced Pwr. Settings

Turn Off hard drive 15 min.

Allow Hybrid Sleep 15 min. ( I don't know what that means?)

    Hibernate after 30 min.

Looking for the best options in Pwr Settings for how I use my desktop, as I don't want cause excessive wear on my hard drives, if my current are not the best.

    Thanks,

    DP.

    :)

  3. Win 10 Pro 64 bit will not load 64 bit programs

I have been running a home built machine with an Intel i5-3720 64-bit processor and Win 10 Pro 64-bit, and WordPerfect X7 and Word 2007 in 64-bit mode. Suddenly, Task Master shows both of those programs running in 32-bit mode. I have checked the processor
and memory, and re-installed WordPerfect two times. A check of Windows shows I have a 64-bit operating system running on an x64-based processor. Any help would be appreciated.

Upgraded - Win 7 Pro 64 bit OS to Win 10 and Received Win 10 32 bit OS- How to Fix

When I upgraded a desktop running Win 7 Pro 64 to Win 10, I selected installation of Win 10 64, however, system information now reflects that I have Win 10 32 bit and an x64 based processor. What steps may I take to re-install Win 10 - 64?
