  1. Win 10 update - July 10th

    Hi all

The Win 10 update today, July 10th, fixed a lot of the issues I got from the last update.

    To mention a few:

    • Swtiching Keyboard input keys in another languge = fixed (1 key refused to work after last update)
    • Windows Immersive desktop environment FINALLY looked better. (Its the AI that improves the look of windows, automaticly)
    • CBS.log, stopped logging 40% of logs it started with after the last update. Among other reports (Windows Backup fails, Trusted installer have stopped working). My windows was fine! But windows logs was going NUTS about problems.
    • The Office fix tool working again, and accepting my office license, which is real. Since last update, it couldnt confirm it, and gave me TONS of problems accessing my email!
    • Windows Defender got another upgrade. I am so pleased with Defender, that I have removed my other protection tools and just use Win firewall and defender.
    • Q5Core, works again
    • Fonts, colors and layout settings works as intended. Last update, my desktop looked different every time I rebooted. Win 10 didnt care about my settings.
    • Connection to internet after a reboot works as intended. Since last update, my internet settings was not followed and it could take 5 minutes for Windows to connect to the router/internet.
    • Nvidia GPU drivers was released July 9th. This win update did NOT mess with the nvidia settings.

2 Annoying events happens after updaing Windows.

    1) Device security (Memory Integrity) setting TURNS OFF! You need to turn it on again. NO INFO ABOUT This!

    2) System restore TURNED OFF. You need to turn it on again. NO INFO ABOUT THIS!

All and all, I am pleased with this win 10 update. It fixed a lot of issues that the last caused + added quite a lot of GOOD stuff. (Not just features for your phone and other junk)

I would like to know, WHY These updates Turns off System restore and device security.
My educated guess, is that the updates has changes to win 10 security, so it resets your settings. But thats just a guess.

Thanks Microsoft, this update was good!

    :)

    July cumulative update for 1803

So, in that case, I will not receive the July 10th update but should be able to receive the next one or after testing it, then I will receive the July 10th one?
