Windows 10: Win 10 ver 1903 December Update Problem Error 0x800f0845?

December updates - KB4530684 Cumulative Update for Win 10 1903 and KB4533002 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8 for Win 10 1903 both failed to install. Update process started normally, but on restart my computer went into a repeating boot loop. Then a message appeared on the bios splash screen saying it was diagnosing my computer. Finally went to a blue screen with white circling dots that said "We couldn't complete the updates. Undoing changes. Don't turn off your computer." Took about 10 minutes but finally got back into Windows. Checked update history and both failed installs show error code 0x800f0845. Googled that error code and found nothing. Tried Microsoft's support chat bot and searched that error code. Again found nothing. Anyone familiar with this error code?

win 10 update 1903 Sandboxie

Win 10 ver 1903 will not upgrade/update due to incompatible software (Sandboxie) error window recommends to remove it manually. Did so with remove programs, nochange. Removed all references to Sandboxie in the registry, removed the folder in
programs, no change. Still get message about incompatibility with recommendation to remove it, Nothing to remove now. Anyone have any suggestions?

 

Keep Checking WIN 10, ver 1903 UPDATES

I waited until last week to upgrade to ver 1903 on my laptops. Today, I checked for updates and there were 4 updates pertaining to version 1903. I do have a habit of checking for updates every Wednesday, as I like to make sure all of my laptops are WIN
10 ready. Been that way for a looooong time.

Then, don't forget to run, "Disk Cleanup," to keep laptop running smoooooth and perhaps Faaaster.
